Stepping Stones Lesson Six

1. Audio Immersion

Listen to the audio recording of the story at least three times, just to familiarize yourself with its sounds. Each character represents one syllable, so you can try following along as you listen. Don't worry for now about the meanings of the characters or of the story as a whole.

守株待兔

              从前有个农夫
              看见一只兔子
              撞死在田边的一棵树下，
              因此他以为
              可以不花一点力气
              便可获得食物。

              从此他就不再种地了，
              每天都守在这棵树下，
              期望能再捡到撞死的兔子。

              日子一天天过去了，
              再也没有兔子
              撞死在这棵树下，
              农夫的地
             也一点收成
              都没有了。
