Stepping Stones Lesson Six

2. Audio Practice

Listen to one line of the story, and then repeat it aloud. Follow the characters in the text as you listen--each character corresponds to one syllable. Practice until you can recite the line from memory. Then go on to the next line. Again, don't worry about the meaning for now.

守	株	待	兔
shǒu	zhū	dài	tù

从	前	有	个	农	夫
cóng	qián	yǒu	gè	nóng	fu

看	见	一	只	兔	子
kàn	jiàn	yì	zhī	tù	zi

撞	死	在	田	边	的	一	棵	树	下
zhuàng	sǐ	zài	tián	biān	de	yì	kē	shù	xia,

因	此	他	以	为
yīn	cǐ	tā	yǐ	wéi

可	以	不	花	一	点	力	气
kě	yǐ	bù	huā	yì	diǎn	lì	qi
